Finding Our Way

Each of us loses our way. Over the course of a lifetime, we can do so many times. But what causes it?

In my experience, it occurs when we stop listening to our inner voice. That little part of us that knows everything that can be known.

Some might call this our Heart. Others, yet, might call it our Higher Self.

No matter what label we put upon it, though, when we stop listening to that guiding voice, we lose our way.

And, as much as I wish it were not the case, I am just as “guilty” of it.

For some time, I’ve been “should”-ing all over myself.

“I should do this.”

“I should do that.”

I’ve been trying so hard to do everything “right” and the way it “should be done”. And “this is the one and only way to achieve success”. At least, my perceived definition of success, which – of course – may vary from your definition.

The Call of the Wild

This past week or so, I’ve really been listening to what my Spirit wants and needs. Which, I might add, does not mesh with what my EGO believes I need.

That, I guess, is my head’s up to you that you might see some changes around here and in my social media spaces.

I’m marching to the beat of my own drum again.

It might not get me to the place Ego wants me to, but it will certainly feel A LOT better.

And, who knows? Maybe it WILL get Ego to where it wants to go in the process.

Definitely a win-win there, I’d say!

Until next time, dear friend, may you and yours be well!
